Marielba Rojas received a B.S. and an M.S. in Computer Science from
Simón Bolívar University
in Sartenejas, Venezuela, and
an M.A. and a Ph.D. in Computational Science and Engineering from
Rice University. Her research interests are
the numerical solution of large-scale inverse problems by means of linear
algebra and optimization techniques.
Dr. Rojas is originally from
Venezuela,
a
beautiful country
on the northern part of South America. She has many
interests including
Roger Federer's tennis, reading, movies, art, languages, scrapbooking,
traveling, cooking, and hiking.
